What Do You See?

Recently, I gave a poem to a friend. I am enclosing it because I need for my other friends to see it too.

What do you see when you look at me?

When you look, what do you see?

Do you see a mass of color?

Or am I invisible to your eye? Do you stop and examine or will you pass me by?

No, you are curious. You take the time you need.

You look deeper than most; you want to get a good read.

So I open up for you and let my inner light glow.

You are one of my dearest friends and I just wanted you to know.

I am grateful to my friends. They keep me going and on an even keel.

They give my life a sweet meaning and I cherish them. I just wanted you to know.

That was a wonderful poem accompanied by some terrific photos! I'm glad you decided to share your poem because you allowed a piece of your inner self to reach out to others and you found out it wasn't so bad! :) There's a lot more of that in there, so do a little more!
